This week has been filled with friends, baby groups, new goals and ended on a high with my first Mother’s Day.
Here’s our snapshot…
Old friends, new babies
We had a visit from one of our London friends who had a baby girl six weeks before George arrived – Dorothy. She popped round for a brew with baby Dotty who had a great time playing with G on the mat.
We’re coming to the end of our current term of classes, with just one week left. This week has seen George dressed up as a butterfly, getting to grips with a shower cap and getting lost in piles of tin foil!
Now that George is 6 months old, I’ve decided to go back to Slimming World and focus on me some more. I lost 3 stone with them before falling pregnant, so I’m hoping to receive some good results again.
I’ve been trying to get George to self settle for naps over the past week so that he’s ready for nursery in May. The first couple of days were hard but he’s now getting a lot better. There have been a few days of camera close ups and Ewan the sheep flying through the air for amusement too.
Today was my first Mother’s Day and it’s been lovely. It’s such an amazing feeling being a mum and a one that keeps getting stronger. We had a lovely lunch, I’ve had flowers, a photo album and lots of cuddles.
